LeveragePoint’s team works remotely/hybrid most of the time, with many employees located in the Greater Boston area.  (The position does not require relocation.)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for short-term and long-term forecasting
  • Manage and prepare customer-facing contracts and invoices
  • Prepare and update corporate documentation
  • Prepare presentations and metrics for monthly meetings
  • Prepare or oversee preparation of financial reporting packages and annual financial statements (potentially outsourced)
  • Monitor revenue recognition
  • Supervise the outsourced tax function (year-end federal/state filings) and prepare quarterly sales tax filings
  • Responsible for the accounting functions; QuickBooks, AP/AR, and payroll (potentially outsourced)
  • Manage the Company’s bank relationships
  • Oversee lease agreements
  • Act as primary HR director, participating in hiring, responsible for onboarding/offboarding, benefits, compliance documents, employee goals/performance reviews (some HR functions potentially outsourced)
  • Prepare insurance renewal documentation
  • Manage compli­ance/ regulatory requirements (SOC2, GDPR)
  • Key member of Security team and Risk and Controls team
  • Key member of management team, organizing management meetings and providing direction

Skill Set & Experience

  • At least 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Strong experience with Excel spreadsheets required
  • BA/BS required
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar software a plus
  • Accounting experience a plus
  • HR experience a plus
  • SaaS industry knowledge a plus
  • Exposure to privacy and security compliance issues a plus
  • Experience with security audits and financial auditors a plus
  • Greater Boston area location a plus
